Proceeds from the event will help support the community programs and charitable initiatives of Ladies of Lee, allowing us to continue serving families and creating opportunities throughout our region.

We here at Ladies of Lee have been proudly donating six hundred (600) bears that were graciously gifted to us. Cuddle Up & Read promotes early literacy in our economically disadvantaged county. Donations help us provide children with books and comfort items that inspire a love of reading, strengthen literacy skills, and encourage lifelong learning. Cuddle Up & Read pairs each child with a stuffed bear to love as well as a book--or books--to read. Through this generous contribution, we are working to bring smiles to the greatest gifts we have in Lee County—our children. We have distributed bears to places such as Lee Department of Social Services Foster Care, the Lee County Sheriff's Department, Lee County Community Hospital, and the Lee County Head Start program. Seeing their joy and comfort as the children receive these special bears is truly heartwarming. We look forward to seeing you at our next event, the Lee In Bloom Hometown Craft Fair. More information about Lee In Bloom will be available shortly.
